2nd Acts is entirely a volunteer-based group, and we are looking for those who have the heart and time to devote to this work. Care to join us? We enthusiastically extend the hand of fellowship to any Bible-believing, Jesus-loving child of God who is dedicated to sharing the Word.

Actors
pretty self-explanatory!

Travelers
what’s a Traveler? Those actors who play designated personality roles sitting at the tables with the guests. The gift of gab is a real benefit here, because it’s essential to keep the guests engaged in conversation relating to the period and culture we’re representing. This makes the entire dinner and drama an event our guests truly experience rather than just observe.

Servers
yep, they play a part too! Costumed and named, they must be ready and able to chat with the guests and even answer some questions as they tend the tables. But they are busy, busy… so not as much conversation is required of them… just plenty of energy and stamina and a great personality!

Kitchen staff
love to cook? This might be your niche. But even if culinary skills are not your forte, we need plenty of helpers and organizers in the kitchen.

Costumers
sewing, of course, and also helping everybody get outfitted properly and in a timely manner. Must be ready to answer the question, “How does this go?” and respond to numerous pleas for help with head-coverings!

Make-up “artists”
there are always a handful of guys who need beards but are not permitted to grow them because of their jobs. Our Spring production calls for really fun stuff like “aging” some of our cast, and creating bruises and bleeding wounds!

Set/Scenery/Props
carpenters, artists, and those who want to lend a hand with getting it done and in place!

Techies
sound and lights are always helpful, and being a small organization, we usually have to be pretty inventive in how we achieve our goals. Hey, that just makes it more fun, right?

Intercessors
At the top of the heap are the Intercessors. So why write them up last? So you’ll remember that they are doing the priority work around here. These dedicated pray-ers are at their posts every day, praying for all of us, the work being done, and the guests who will eventually attend. They also provide a constant praying presence each night of each presentation. We do nothing on our own.

Wherever-you-need-me
these are indispensable! There is always something to be done, and more hands make it all go better! If you are one of these, God bless you!
